SalaryOur client is looking a Senior Business Analyst for approximately 12 months
Candidates must live in Greater Manchester/north west area Candidates must confirm they will attend office 2/3 times per weekCandidates must have resided and worked in the UK for 3 years or more
As the Senior Business Analyst overseeing the Digital Programme, you will identify the necessary business analysis activities and deliverables for all projects, leading, managing, and mentoring a team of 6-8 Business Analysts, planning and coordinating their work activities, and ensuring the quality of their deliverables. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive the success of the Digital Programme and its projects.
Key accountabilities:
- Provide weekly progress reports on the activities agreed within the project plan.
- Provide advice on best practice methodologies, tools and templates where required.
- Deliver high level business analysis as required by the Project or Programme Manager.
- Offer support and guidance to all other areas of the Project or Programme.
Essential Experience
- Formal Business Analyst qualification
- Experience of working on strategic change projects in a large, complex organisation.
- Experience of managing and mentoring a team of Business Analysts
- Strong experience of the following areas: Business process mapping; Business requirement elicitation and management; Creating proposals and options papers and Gap analysis
- Experience implementing complex technical solution.
- Managing quick time scales, turn arounds and competing priorities
- Ability to adapt business analysis methodologies, tools and templates to suit the project needs
Desirable
- Project Management qualifications
- Experience of digital transformation within a public sector environment
- Experience of implementing a records management system
