Join our client's innovative team in Edinburgh, shaping the future of digital services in Scottish land registration. We are seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst to drive projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with their strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a meticulous audit trail of decisions, assumptions, and unresolved queries.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Service Design, and Registration teams to inform domain roadmap iterations.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Lead Business Analyst and Senior Product Manager.
- Identify and evaluate new processes and customer-centric opportunities.
- Actively contribute to the client's Business Analysis practice, sharing insights and best practices.
- Assist in the development and upskilling of junior staff.
- Collaborate with business change teams to address and mitigate potential barriers to process adoption.
- Engage confidently with stakeholders and established governance forums.
- Translate product roadmap features into clear product requirements, encompassing epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Monitor and provide feedback on product progress throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers from other domains on intersecting projects.
- Promote and exemplify agile methodologies at a team level.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Profound knowledge of Scottish land registration processes.
- Ability to articulate and discuss land registration concepts with domain experts.
- Proven expertise in facilitating detailed workshops with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Strong collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies in digital service design and delivery.
- Exceptional ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder mapping, impact assessment, and process mapping.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency in crafting user stories and formal acceptance criteria.
