Role Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analysts / Risk and Control Specialists to work with our client who is a global leader in banking and wealth management which provide consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products to achieve the best outcomes for clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative, and responsible. The role is based in Dublin.

The Senior Business Analyst/ Risk and Control Specialist is required to assist with delivery of the Markets MCA Transformation. This is a 7-month contract position.
Key responsibilities
Significant contributor to the development of Risk and Control assessments for Markets products / asset classes.

• Work alongside and in collaboration with Senior Business stakeholders to ensure that the scope of Risk and Control assessments are complete, fit for purpose, and adhere to both regulatory expectations and policy requirements.
• Execute assigned deliverables and work products to manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring that issues and risks are identified and proactively managed.
• Drive engagement across the Markets business and with stakeholders across the three lines of defense, where required.
• Inform key updates and matters requiring decision for presentation to management for areas of responsibility".

Key Skills

• 8+ years' experience in financial services
• Strong understanding of the operational risk management framework including Risk and Control assessments, with a proven track record of contributing to Risk and Control based regulatory remediation programs.
• Knowledge and experience of Markets business across one or more product / function
• Excellent communication skills required in order to collaborate and negotiate internally. Some external communication may be necessary.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions.
• Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
