The Role: Senior Business Development Manager – South
Reporting to the UK sales Director
You will be selling to medium and large blue-chip businesses.
Selling a range of high-end tooling products including bespoke high-quality tools and tooling kits, fully bespoke to customer needs and requirements.
This is a new business role as well as Account Management, managing your accounts that you bring on board.
Targeting new business for the company to achieve sales growth.
Responsibilities - Senior Business Development Manager
New Business and maintaining new accounts brought on.
Responsible for the South of the country, selling to engineering and construction companies
Creating high end new business opportunities, through networking and cold calling and arranging fixed appointments.
Offering new quotations, samples and following up through to first order.
Responsible for all route planning, paperwork, weekly, monthly and yearly reports (word, excel, PowerPoint etc)
About You
- A proven background in sales, Ideally from Engineering or Industrial industries.
- A positive attitude – with intrinsic motivation
- Enthusiasm – wanting to drive yourself and sales forward.
- Personality – outgoing, someone who is liked by many.
- Appetite for success – a desire to self-develop and aiming to be the best.
- Organised – time management & reporting skills
