We work with hospitals, community providers, primary care and social care to provide often- transformative support to vulnerable people. We ensure people are discharged home safely and settled in and we support them to build resilience at home to avoid readmission. We provide regulated care and patient transport too as well as support to people with connecting to their wider community to reduce loneliness. But that’s not all, we’re constantly innovating and in many areas we’re leading the way, such as with our Discharge to Assess programme.
A Day in the life of a Senior Business development Manager will involve...
Your role will be to significantly increase the number of people we support, and the income generated through expanding British Red Cross commissioned health and social care services across the region. You will be at the forefront of expanding our health and social care services across Scotland.
This is not a fundraising role. With the support of national colleagues, you will be responsible for achieving ambitious growth plans and supporting the development of new and exciting services. You will own the Business Development process, from identifying need and generating leads, through to developing solutions and winning new contracts.
You’ll work as part of the Scottish Leadership Team within Health and Local Crisis Response, joining a supportive and successful team focused on our humanitarian aim of reducing health inequalities so join us in shaping the future of health and social care.
To be a successful Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll need:
- Excellent contract negotiation skills, with emphasis on winning bids
- Substantive Business Development experience within the public, private or third sector
- Stakeholder engagement and management skills
