Who are we?The role is part of the Business Intelligence, Analytics & Insights team within Strategic Planning & Change at Newcastle University. Strategic Planning & Change is responsible for business and market intelligence, policy insights and support for the university's strategic planning process and change projects. The RoleYou will act as the technical lead for the development and delivery of institutional reports and dashboards covering a broad range of higher education enterprise data such as student, staff, education, research administration and rankings. You will collaborate with teams across the University to co-design products required to inform strategic planning and implementation. You will bring your experience in data governance to shape improvements to quality, consistency and transparency of data, analytics, and insights. What about you?We are looking for candidates who have demonstrable skills in data visualisation, data analytics and statistics, experience of bringing together distributed teams of specialists and experience working with senior stakeholders. We are particularly keen to hear from people who are creative and passionate about data and can bring with them the skills to contribute to delivery of our new Business Intelligence roadmap and help to shape future Business Intelligence provision at Newcastle.
