Senior Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a leading Software Development organisation are looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst who can play a key part of an experienced software development team to design and support bespoke commercial systems.

The role covers a full scope of software development activities including requirements gathering, system design (front-end user interface work and back-end database/process work), testing and customer support. This will enable you to take personal responsibility for most of the lifecycle tasks from concept to fully-formed product using both waterfall and agile methodologies. In addition, you will also provide support and direction to less experienced members of the team.

Key Requirements 
•A minimum 2:2 degree in a STEM subject
•A minimum of 10 years’ commercial experience in software development with at least 3 years’ experience working in a company focused on software development
•Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving abilities
•Exposure to both front-end and relational database design (including use of SQL) on Unix/Linux
•Ability to influence leadership, peers and other internal and external stakeholder groups
•A passion for delivering quality for our customers.
