Form of workWe’re delighted to be recruiting for a niche Senior Business Travel Consultant role which would suit someone who wants to keep their mornings free! The position is for a Senior Business Travel Consultant who will manage the UK and US clients of this specialised Travel Management Company outside of "normal" working hours.
The hours that require cover are Monday - Friday, EITHER 11am- 7pm or 12pm until 8pm. This is an ideal role for someone who is happy to work early evenings AND still wants to have some of the day free without compromising their sleep!
Our client specialises in the entertainment sector so there's lots of last minute changes and we are looking for a Business Travel Consultant with the knowledge and ability to be able to handle VIP’s and their specific requirements.
Your role as a Senior Business Travel Consultant will include:
- Being HOME BASED and answering phone calls and emails from clients based in the UK and the US (if you're in the South East and fancy a couple of days in the office that's fine too!)
- Working on Sabre GDS
- Reissuing/ issuing tickets
- Making any urgent and impending travel requests with ease
- Liaising with hotels and travel suppliers worldwide
- General administrative duties associated with the role
This is an excellent opportunity if you’re looking for a position that gives you days off in the week (and a lovely lie in!).
Sabre GDS experience is needed for this role, native experience is what we're looking for.
A knowledge of ticketing would be great
Business travel air & hotel reservations experience essential
As mentioned, this is a HOME BASED role but proximity to London would be preferred for trainng, team nights out etc.
