Sea Global are currently partnering with a leading Property / Housing business who are currently looking to add a Senior Buyer to join the function on a 12-month fixed term basis. They are really looking for someone who is comfortable leading a tender and contract management.

For this role, it is essential that the successful candidate has experience within JCT Contracts & Construction related spend. The role reports directly into the Head of Procurement, who is looking for someone to hit ground running. If this sounds like it could be of interest, please read on for details.

Role & Responsibilities

• Run and manage the full tendering process via both Contracts Finder and FTS systems for multiple areas of the business including some JCT tenders
• Develop and implement sourcing and procurement category plans aligned to multiple business areas across
• Provide regular market analysis for key spend areas, , benchmark data and supplier evaluation, to support procurement planning and risk management

Experience & Requirements

• Experience working within a similar sector / role
• Will be able to work autonomously and develop supplier relationships
• Should have experience within technical procurement
• Ideally MCIPS / degree educated - but not at all essential
