Salary: Up to £50K DOE
What you’ll be doing:
- Taking a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation & execution, ongoing supplier performance & relationship management & risk mitigation activities
- Providing challenge into the conventional way of thinking and procuring in order to develop innovative contracting solutions and drive value
- Managing and influencing internal stakeholders across the business
- Negotiating existing and new service and support agreements for production equipment to ensure best cost / service to the business
- Managing suppliers to ensure there is a professional and effective business relationship
- Managing strategic vendors and procuring services for production critical manufacturing equipment
- Using the procurement lifecycle as a tool, you will manage vendors in line with the category strategy and support its implementation across the wider business
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Demonstrable track record of procurement experience – sourcing / contracting/ contract & performance management
- Proven commercial acumen
- Ability to manage contracts including contract negotiations
Desirable:
- Previous experience of, or contribution to, managing production equipment service contracts. Multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience including multiple internal functions (Operations, Export Control, Accounts Payable, Logistics, etc.)
- Experience in asset management / manufacturing operations

The Investment & Infrastructure Procurement team:
This is a team at the forefront of supporting the business’ investments into sustainment of existing manufacturing production systems as well as supporting the development of new product platforms. With significant levels of new investment in manufacturing facilities, this is an opportunity to make your mark within development of brand-new facilities.
