AddressAmour Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Calculations Analyst on behalf of our client based in Portsmouth.
In this varied role, you'll support a software development team, assisting them with the definitions and documentation of the software's requirements.
You'll need to work closely with both internal and external teams, working to document accurately the software needs, as well as some finer requirements and financial calculations.
You will be supporting at all stages of the software lifecycle, so you'll need to be organised and be able to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business software development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
- - Perform business analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
- Design and implement database structures to support data analysis and reporting
- Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) process, including testing and deployment
Skills:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in business analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering and process mapping
- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
