You will be responsible for ensuring relevant, engaging and informative materials are seen by existing and potential customers, in a coherent way that encompasses planning, execution and analysis. Using excellent communication and project management skills, you will work cross functionally to ensure that these campaigns are carried out using a variety of channels to improve authentic stories from users of Nanopore technology in our growing and innovative scientific customer community.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, planning, delivery plus analytics and improvement of our global marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the wider the marketing team to plan and deliver key campaigns aligning to organisational priorities
- Work in partnership with the MarTech team to measure impact of campaigns and apply learnings to existing and future outbound marketing activities.
- Develop the digital marketing strategy, including external marketing channels within a particular segment /campaign
- Support the planning, scheduling, and reviewing of content for Oxford Nanopore's email channel
- Work with CRM and automated marketing platforms to ensure targeted marketing approaches reach the intended audiences
- Identify trends and opportunities to develop innovative and engaging communications.
- Understand and communicate the vision and tone of voice of Oxford Nanopore, where the customer is at the heart of our community, and we actively support the sharing of customer stories
- Enable and support the continuous improvement of marketing campaign processes to improve quality of content and efficiency of the teams
What we're looking for…
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent) preferably in life sciences along with validated min 5 yrs experience in marketing or communications leading campaigns
- Previous experience in marketing/comms is essential with proven success in managing multi discipline and integrated campaigns, with preferred experience operating in complex matrixed environments
- Creative from an ideas perspective, excellent writer, with an understanding of the power of storytelling, capable of distilling down complex concepts to effective messaging
- Excellent written skills, able to adapt tone to audience and platform
- An eye for design and detail with confident presentation skills
- Highly organised - able to manage multiple projects at once
- Adaptable to changing timelines and situations
- Dynamic, enthusiastic self-starter that enjoys working in a team environment
- Ideally previous experience of working within the life science industry, knowledge of genomics preferred
