A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for a motivated Senior Care Assistant Nights supporting service users living with Dementia. Do you want to make a difference on a daily basis and give support to staff and services users alike then look no further! Great pay rate of £14.25 per hour based near Frodsham, Cheshire.

My client is well established and has achieved a good rating throughout the majority of their services from the CQC and is looking for a confident Senior Care Assistant. You will need to support service users and colleagues in the service and further improve and maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their values and service delivery.

This is a great opportunity and will not be around for long!!

• Salary - £14.25 per hour (£24,453 per annum)
• Hours – Part time permanent position 33 hours nights
• Shifts – Nights
• Area – Located near to Frodsham, Cheshire.

Responsibilities – Senior Care Assistant Nights

• Assist the management of the home in developing the skills and potential of Care Assistants.
• Support the Registered Manager with the effective and efficient running of shifts.
• Work within and ensure effective delivery of the policies and procedures in the home.
• Monitor and maintain administrative requirements, ensuring that the outcome meets the standards set out by the CQC, and the homes working practices.
• Ensure ongoing assessment of service user’s needs.
• Oversee, supervise and develop the skills of staff in their daily working practices.
• Promote and actively encourage the delivery of a safe, structured and nurturing environment.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team both within the home and with external agencies.
• At all times ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the service users.

Skills required – Senior Care Assistant Nights

• Experience in supporting service user’s living with Dementia
• Knowledge of CQC regulations.
• QCF Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Desirable for this service)  
• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant (Preferred not essential).  
• An understanding of the needs of the service user and their families.
• Basic IT skills and basic computer programmes such as word, Excel and Outlook.
• A commutable distance from Frodsham, Cheshire.
