Struan Lodge Care Home is looking to recruita Senior Care Assistant (SVQ3)
Our purpose-built care home offers exceptional levels of Nursing, Dementia & Palliative care for up to 32-residents.

Senior Care Assistant Contract
£12.50 -£13.00 per hour (DOE)
Contracted to 42-hours per week - Paid Breaks
Pension
5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)

Senior Care Assistant must be SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Qualified
Senior Care Assistant Will Be
Trained in Medication administration
A caring and motivated person.
Experienced supporting older people, ideally including those living with a dementia and trained in medication.
Confident and experienced to lead a care team and act as champion for the wellbeing of residents.
Able to prepare, review and understand a care plan
Qualified to SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Your key responsibilities will include
Providing excellent care and support to residents.
Ensuring high standards are always maintained.
Supervising, leading and motivating all Care Assistants in order for the team to function efficiently.
Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs.
Administering medication as instructed.
Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the residents and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.
Supporting and working with Care Assistants.
Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
Putting qualifications aside for a moment, it is essential to have a caring and empathetic nature, with genuine interest in caring for the elderly.
