Senior Category Manager – All About Food

The Advocate Group are proud to be partnering with All About Food, a leading FMCG organisation with blue chip capability and a disruptor mindset. 

Backed by their collaborative, make it happen culture, the All About Food team is responsible for transitioning the success of leading restaurant brands like Nando’s, Costa, Wagamama and Pret into the world of grocery retail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a consumer centric culture, ensure the consumer is at the heart of everything we do.
• Drive performance across our business through the creation of insight to support knowledge and understanding.
• Challenge assumptions within the business to drive performance through regularly sharing insights.
• Lead and manage competitor and Eating Out knowledge and understanding across the business to anticipate their activities.
• Drive the use of this knowledge and understanding to inform both reactive and proactive range, cuisine, and category strategies.
• Lead and manage our strategic category relationship with relevant internal and external key stakeholders.
• Support the Brand Team with NPD ideation to enable them to develop the Retail Brand Strategy and Annual Operational Plan for their brands.
• Support the Category Director with the evaluation of new brands in line with the business strategy.
• Support the Brand and Sales teams to manage and execute the annual budgeting and business planning process for their brands and customers with their Finance Business Partner.
• Constantly review process and procedure within the role and make recommendations for improvement.
• Be an active and vocal member of the Category and the wider team.
• Continuously learn and develop skills, knowledge and experience to fulfil the short and long term objectives of the organisation to achieve constantly increasing operational output and standards.
