Role: Senior CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer

Carriera is proud to partner with one of the UK’s leading architect practices, our client is going through a significant period of growth within their CDM/ PD department and require an experienced Senior CDM Advisor to join the team out of their offices in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning architect practice who have been previously been named “The #1 Architect practice to work for” in the UK. The successful candidate will be working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, healthcare, retail, leisure, industrial, education, manufacturing and hotel projects across London/ South East. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior CDM Advisor/ PD to join a forward thinking organisation at an exciting time within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the H&S file from project inception through to completion.
• Review construction phase plans (CPP).
• Issue and maintain pre construction information (PCI).
• Oversee design risk register.
• Attend design team and client meetings.
• Provide a Principal Designer, CDM Advisor and Advisor to the Principal Designer service to clients.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Professional membership to IOSH, APS, or RIBA (desirable).
• Excellent knowledge and hands on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations.
• 2-3 years experience in a CDM Advisor or Principal Designer role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
