Senior Civil Engineer

They are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the design and execution of various Civil Engineering projects. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and utilizing Civils 3D software to deliver accurate and efficient designs.

The Role:

• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring successful project delivery from concept through to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Utilize Civils 3D software to create detailed design models, drawings, and documentation.
• Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical reports to support project proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Perform site visits and inspections as needed to ensure design implementation and quality.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and resources to achieve project milestones.
• Assist in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in Civil Engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in using Civils 3D software for design and drafting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with transportation, infrastructure, or urban planning projects is a plus.
