Senior Civil Engineer

We are currently working with a leading provider of construction consulting services with a comprehensive background in Structural and Civil Engineering. They are actively on the lookout for a Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience to join their office in Welwyn Garden City. The purpose of this role is to assist with ongoing expansion and a growing workload

The company has a track record of working across numerous sectors, including retail, data centres, logistics, residential, logistics and energy. Their areas of expertise include structural and Civil Engineering, feasibility studies, building information modelling (BIM), engineering master planning, flood management, infrastructure design, pre-development engineering and transportation & highways.

There is currently a real emphasis on data centre and distribution centre projects, many of which have an international dimension with the opportunity for working trips abroad being a genuine reality on offer. Clients include major technology and distribution companies that have an international reputation.

The successful will have a BEng or MEng and be near chartered or working towards chartership. Sound experience in flood risk assessments, SuDS, pavement designs, managing projects, checking and preparing engineering reports, drawings and figures to a high standard. Will be proficient in use of AutoCAD, Micro Drainage and Civil 3D. Experience in sectional agreements including S278, S38, S104 and S106. Good, proven management skills are also beneficial.
