SalarySenior Civil Engineer- required for out client a well established and close team based on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. The Senior Civil Engineer will be working for a company that have over 85% of repeat business and a strong pipeline of work. The Civil Engineer will be working on projects over £200m in value across Healthcare Commercial, retail, heritage and the Leisure sectors.
Senior Civil Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary up to £55k
- 26 days holiday + 8 BH

Senior Civil Engineer Position Overview
- Technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects
- Lead the team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
- Preparation of reports, e.g. Flood Risk and Drainage Assessments, Transport Assessments.
- Preparation of technical specifications.
- Civil engineering Masterplanning.
- Civil engineering design development, e.g. roads, drainage, building regulations approvals, Sections 38 /104 /278.
- Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion.
- Ensure quality control and question whether carbon footprint can be reduced within design
- Attend design team meetings and site visit.
Senior Civil Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree Qualified within Civil Engineering or a similar discipline
- Chartered, or currently approaching chartered status with the ICE.
- Experience in leading a design team.
- Technically strong in Civil Engineering
- Experience with SUDs design, from concept through to implementation.
- must have AutoCAD and Microdrainage/Infodrainage, and ideally Civils 3D
- Experience within highways, public realm and the Civil Engineering industry.
- Produce designs following CDM regulations.
- Knowledge of and BIM processes.
- Over 7 years' experience in infrastructure design
- Full UK Driving Licence
