SalaryOur client is a growing multidisciplinary consultancy with UK-wide coverage and a healthy project pipeline of confirmed work within Bridge and Rail sectors.
At present they are seeking an experienced Civil Technician to join their central Glasgow office on a full-time basis.
It is expected that you will have several years of experience working with CAD software and ideally, you will have a genuine interest in using Revit software as you will be provided with extensive training to allow you to develop this skill.
Although your current knowledge will be put to the test, there is several experienced members of staff that like to be hands on and offer lots of support and in-house training.
CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN REPSPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical designs for a wide range of projects including new/old bridge design, rail marinas, lighthouses, flood prevention schemes, coastal protection and climate resilience projects.
- Liaise with various design teams across the business ensuring best practice is shared.
CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN BACKGROUND
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils3D software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Confident in own skills but, happy able to recognise when to ask for assistance.
ON OFFER
- £30,000 - £40,000 Per annum.
