Excellent opportunity for a Senior Civils Technician to join a structural and civil consultancy based in their Welwyn Garden City office on a permanent basis.

You will be working with a consultancy that work on a number of Civil projects within sectors such as Commercial, Data Centres, Education, Energy, Industrial and Retail.

The Senior Civill Technician will be primarily involved within the Building Structures projects.

The Role

This opportunity is perfect for someone with 2 years plus years' experience within a consultancy environment that is ambitious to drive their career forward.

The right candidate should feel comfortable working with other technicians as well as working independently.

Senior Civil Technician - Position Overview

• Competent use of AutoCAD work (ideally some experience of Tekla, Tedds, Civil 3D, although not essential)
• Detailing and modelling of a wide range of building structures projects
• Ability to work on structural projects of various sizes
• Excellent coordination skills to work with structural engineers to ensure the right design solution.
• Attending Design meetings and Client visits.

Position Requirements

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering advantageous
• 2+ years' experience within a consultancy-based role
• Be proficient in the use of design tools
