Job Title:Senior Claims Assessor – Coaching Quality Assurance Change Delivery

Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow or Alderley Edge
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Underwriting and Claims academy as a Senior Claims Assessor. The successful candidate will enjoy coaching and mentoring others which forms the basis of the role alongside conducting Quality Assurance and Change Delivery.
Working closely with the operational team and the QA manager you will be involved in developing the claims support that the Academy provides.
About the role
Providing coaching and mentoring to the operational Claims Assessors
Identify specific claims trends and make recommendations that evolve the Royal London Claims Philosophy
Conduct quality audits and feedback observations to peers
Roll out technical change to the operational team
Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
About you
Detailed knowledge of Life, Critical Illness, Disability, and Income Protection claims
A sound understanding of legal and regulatory matters that affect claims and underwriting Comfortable training and providing feedback to others in a coaching environment
Good planning, co-ordination, and organisational skills.
