Senior Client Services Manager - Practice - Salary to GBP60,000 - Reading (flexible & hybrid working solutions)
A highly successful, dynamic and fast-growing firm of Accountants, this role provides an opportunity for an individual to progress their career within Practice, the client believes the role would be suitable for a newly qualified accountant or an individual that is "qualified by experience" if they demonstratable practice experience coaching junior members of staff.
The role
Managing work-flows of a small team, ensuring prompt delivery of work accurately and in budget. Management, development and coaching of junior staff within your team. Manage your own portfolio of clients ensuring quality of service and expert advice. Preparation of accounts for limited companies, LLPs, CICs, charities, partnerships and sole traders. Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns. Undertake initial file reviews for your team for technical accuracy and completeness prior to being reviewed by the Client Services Director. Carrying out reviews for clients and conduct client review meetings to assist clients to interpreting and making sense of their financial data. Promote the Practice and recommend additional value-added services to clients. Manage own daily workloads.
Desired experience/skills
Previous experience working in a Practice environment. Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA - QBE candidates will also be considered foer this role if they hold the relevant experience Excellent technical knowledge of current Financial Reporting Standards Ability to work on own initiative unsupervised. Ability to work to strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Strong knowledge of accounting/tax systems; specifically, Xero would be an advantage, along with a prerequisite for excellent Excel and IT skills
