Senior Clinical Coder

ACC Clinical Coder - Band 5 

£28,407 to £34,581 per annum

Full-time, Flexible working, Home or remote working

We are working with a fantastic client who is looking to add to their clinical coding department

The post holder will be expected to work from the hospital site in Liverpool for an initial period of training, following which a policy is in place enabling staff who maintain appropriate audit scores and productivity to work remotely if desired. Staff working remotely must be available to attend occasional on-site meetings, events, and training in Liverpool.

• Ability to abstract and analyse complex patient records
• Ability to use own judgement to translate complex cases
• Ability to apply local and national clinical coding conventions

• ACC qualification

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Clinical Coder

• Experience in mentoring staff new to the coding process
• Experience of supervising staff
