This is a Monday - Sunday role, covering a 24/7 working rota with the following shift patterns: 08:00-18:00 rough shift pattern, 4 shifts per week, on-call, and overtime opportunities.
This leading Private Healthcare Clinic in London is seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacist within Critical Care to join their Pharmacy team. Duties of the Senior Clinical Pharmacist to include:
- Support the development, validation, and maintenance of clinical and medicines-related guidelines and protocols.
- Oversee the provision of the clinical pharmacy service by junior staff, and, when required, take charge of specialized clinical services.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to guarantee that prescribed medications align with the safest treatment choices.
- Provide high-quality advice and counseling to patients, supporting medicines optimization.
- Assist in managing complaints and take corrective actions as appropriate.
Requirements for the successful candidate:
- Master's degree in pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Postgraduate clinical diploma in clinical pharmacy (hospital) or equivalent experience.
- Hold full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Direct involvement in Critical Care/ICU services within a hospital ward-based environment
