Address As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be a valuable member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to formal assessment and intervention with infants and young children who present with significant developmental delay in the context of complex medical needs, developmental trauma and attachment needs. There will be opportunities to apply your experienced clinical skills in a breadth of work including the administration of complex formal assessment, the assessment of parent/child interaction, contributing to complex and integrated clinical formulations as well as develop skills in specialist parent/child intervention. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist in the Pathway you would provide supervision to others, both Clinical Psychology colleagues and others as appropriate. There would also be opportunity to develop your clinical leadership skills, leading others in areas such as audit, service development, project work and training as appropriate.
The appointed candidate will work jointly with, and provide consultation to, members of the multidisciplinary team and professionals from other agencies. The role would include working closely at an inter-agency level as required, contributing to processes including TAF and EHCP. The Early Child Development Pathway is made up of a strong multi-disciplinary team including Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Early Years Practitioners. The pathway works closely with the physiotherapy service.
The Pathway is county-wide, which enables flexibility regarding the base alongside the recruitment of other posts, so long as the service needs are able to be met.
