Senior Communications Executive - Marketing & Communications

Role overview

This role is crucial to the success of our internal and corporate communications activities – sharing important updates and initiatives across our business and impactful and interesting content with our clients.

You will be working across internal and corporate communications in the UK Marketing and Communications Team. You will be liaising with stakeholders from across the business at all levels of seniority. The focus of the role is the UK business; however you will also be collaborating with colleagues internationally to share content and expertise.

What will I be doing?

• Supporting internal communications activities and initiatives i.e. helping to keep the intranet up to date, assisting with the production of the weekly internal newsletter, drafting news stories for the intranet
• The scheduling and logistics of internal knowledge sharing sessions
• Supporting and creating content for our social media channels
• Increasing awareness of Belong, our diversity and inclusion programme, and our employee Networks both internally and externally
• Liaising with the in-house Studio regarding the production of materials
• Driving internal initiatives to support our collaboration and Connect@Ipsos activities
• Liaising with the accounts department to ensure timely payment of invoices for suppliers
• Assisting with our events programme, to include venue & A/V sourcing and liaison, event logistics in advance of and on the day, managing the invitation and registration process
• Assisting in developing and distributing marketing collateral such as event invitations, emails and thought leadership, testing prior to release and running reports on receipt
• Supporting the production and proof-reading of publications, newsletters, articles and press releases
• Championing the use of and maintenance of the database and email marketing system in the UK, updating records post campaigns and training team members

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.

What do I need to bring with me?

• Experience in a similar role would be desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of seniority and to build relationships quickly internally and externally
• Proactive, self-starter with a can do attitude
• Good attention to detail and great proofreading skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to deal with multiple projects at any one time
• Able to work to deadlines and under pressure, reprioritising as necessary
• Flexible, responsive, good follow through
• Technology and social media savvy; experience with uploading online content, CMS & CRM systems and virtual webinars is preferred
• Good team player
