Salary: Band 6, GBP17.24

Hours: part-time 25 hours

Duration: Temporary, 6 months with possible extension

Job Summary / Main Purpose

The Trust encompass Senior Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in communicating the vision for the encompass Programme across key stakeholder groups within HSC Trust to enable transformational change.

The encompass Programme is a HSCNI wide transformation Programme which seeks to best position HSCNI to capitalise on digitally enabled whole system approach to the delivery of safer, informed care.

Responsible, as a senior staff member within the broader communications team, for the organisation and development of high quality communication services including digital, media, events and public affairs. Responsible for promoting the Trust s corporate image and for acting as a link between the Trust and its internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications/Experience:

A relevant third level qualification or recognised professional qualification or equivalent / Higher qualification

AND

Two years experience working as part of a corporate communications team in a busy and complex organisation with specific responsibility for media (print, broadcast, digital), and/or public affairs.

OR

HNC / HND or equivalent relevant qualification

AND

Three years experience working as part of a corporate communications team in a busy and complex organisation with specific responsibility for specific responsibility for media (print, broadcast, digital), and/or public affairs.

OR

Five years experience in a communications role including at least one working as part of a corporate communications team in a busy and complex organization, with specific responsibility for media (print, broadcast, digital), and/or public affairs.
