Senior Communications OfficerStaff Health and Wellbeing
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Senior Communications Officerto support ourStaff Health and Wellbeing Service.This is a part time role, 15 hours per week, withtheflexibilitytoworkthe hoursover 2-5 days perweek
This is an exciting,part timerolethat requires lots of creativity, initiative, and a keen eye for detail, along with exceptional technical communications skills and expertise – as well as an interest in supporting healthcare staff thrive at work.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Communications, you will take the lead on the communications for the Staff Health & Wellbeing Service to keep our staff and stakeholders informed and engaged.
You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of both business as usual delivery and major projects, managing our presence at events and overcoming barriers to healthcare staff accessing support.
You will have strong copywriting, planning and project management skills and be able to demonstrate experience of developing and implementing communications campaigns. An understanding and experience of using digital communications and developing digital platforms is essential.
You’ll be joining a dedicated staff wellbeing team and a high-performing, forward thinking marketing and communications department, working for a CQC ‘outstanding’ NHS Trust which has the most engaged people in the sector.
About the Job 
You will have responsibility for:
• Developing and delivering an annual communications plan to support the development and growth of our service.
• Implement communications strategies and projects to promote services and projects for staff.
• Research and write about mental health, wellbeing and psychoeducation, with minimal or no brief and only occasional light-touch review and editing.

The four “must haves” for you to be considered for this role: 
1. Significant experience in a communications role, with demonstrable knowledge of communications techniques, approaches and procedures
2. Experience of writing engaging copy for various online and offline media
3. Confident to be the source of expert advice for senior managers on matters relating to marketing and communications.
4. Experience of devising, implementing, managing and evaluating successful communications and involving a broad range of stakeholders.
