Senior Compliance Officer

We have been exclusively assigned to a Senior Compliance Officer position for a professional services firm based in the Isle of Man.

A pivotal position within the Private Client and Corporate Services team. In this leadership role, the incumbent will report directly to the board of directors, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures. Role overview:
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the industry and the regulatory framework applicable to the corporate services industry.

• Managing all aspects of compliance and anti-financial crime controls to assess, evaluate, report, and minimize compliance risk.
• Handling general compliance/AML/CFT queries and monitoring various functions against procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Performing compliance-related administrative tasks, maintaining registers, and conducting compliance monitoring and new business checks.
• Providing compliance-related assistance and guidance during the client acceptance/new business process.
• Reviewing hits from overnight screening of names and coordinating follow-ups with the business.
• Assessing and confirming the adequacy of CDD, maintaining compliance records, and offering advice to ensure efficient adherence to regulatory obligations.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
