Job Description
As a Senior Construction Paralegal your duties will include:
- Preparing, reviewing and potentially negotiating documents including building contracts, (JCT and NEC forms of) consultant appointments, collateral warranties, novations, deeds of assignment and notices of assignment
- Reviewing construction documentation to prepare due diligence reports
- Day-to-day matter management
- Arranging and managing execution of documents (in hard copy and/or using DocuSign)
- Assisting in large transitioning projects for clients. This may include (a) working with contract automation solutions, (b) assisting in the development and management of online workflow solutions (c) effectively managing substantial document amendment exercises
- Conducting and reporting on complex research.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Construction Paralegal should have previous experience in construction work, our client may consider candidates from a real estate background looking to move in to this area.
