Senior Project Manager - South London
Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a dynamic opportunity with a leading principal contractor? Atrium Recruitment presents an exceptional role where you'll be the #1 on-site, responsible for delivering excellence in budget, time, quality, and safety.
Role Highlights:
- Position: Senior/Project Manager
- Responsibilities: Lead a team, including QS, Design Management, Site Management, and Planning.
- Project Scope: Oversee the completion of 80 new build units with high design standards, including zinc roofs.
- Location: South London.
- Offer: Up to £95,000 plus a market-leading package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, setting safety as the primary concern.
- Manage and develop relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, promoting the company's reputation.
- Lead the planning phase, ensuring stakeholders understand contract requirements and key deliverables for safe, timely, and on-budget completion.
- Oversee the delivery phase, motivating teams, managing risks, and ensuring projects meet required standards.
- Liaise regularly with stakeholders, resolving issues promptly to facilitate successful project completion.
- Monitor project progress and provide timely, accurate reports for senior management.
Commercial and Contractual Management:
- Manage commercial aspects, consulting with commercial team members and exercising effective judgement and control.
- Lead project completion and handover processes, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Conduct post-contract review processes, capturing lessons learned and ensuring supply chain performance ratings are entered on Connect.
Skills, Experience, and Qualities:
- In-depth understanding of health and safety, environment, and sustainability in Construction Projects.
- Proven track record of managing multiple Construction Projects simultaneously.
- SMSTS qualified, with higher education qualifications in construction management, engineering, or trade.
- CIOB membership is desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing site and office teams.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- In-depth technical construction knowledge.
- Capable of chairing meetings and well-organized with a disciplined approach to work.
