Senior Content & Engagement Manager - Early Years

London (hybrid), with fully remote options considered

They do this by supporting schools, colleges and nurseries to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. They generate research evidence on effective practice in supporting learning outcomes and narrowing the socioeconomic attainment gap, and they work with academic professionals to ensure this evidence is applied to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.

 

They are currently seeking a Senior Content & Engagement Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

 

They expect to appoint this role as London based with hybrid working. However, for an exceptional candidate, home-based working with regular travel to the London office may be considered.

- Salary of circa £46,000 per annum (up to £49,000 for candidates based in London)

The Role

 

As a Senior Content & Engagement Manager, you will support the development of our client’s Early Years content.

 

Shaping their Early Years evidence, you will ensure it evolves and develops as a relevant and actionable resource for educators. This will include contributing to the overall design and structure and developing the portfolio of content and resources.

 

You will also contribute to the production of targeted communications, such as blogs and podcasts, to promote the organisation, its evidence and role in the system.

 

Additionally, you will:

 

- Develop an overall comms and communication plan

- Co-ordinate content generation that is aligned with policy priorities

- Line manage the Content and Engagement Specialist: Early Years

- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the academic industry

- Represent the organisation at relevant external forums and events

 

About You

 

To be considered as a Senior Content & Engagement Manager, you will need:

 

- Early years practice experience

- Knowledge of research findings and appropriate methodology in the Early Years

- An understanding of the academic landscape

- The ability to develop resources that support educators to enact and implement effective practices in Early Years settings

 

Please note, this role will involve regular travel widely across England as well as occasional overnight stays.
