Senior Continuous Improvement Officer

About the Role

Are you creative and enthusiastic about change? If so, we’d love to hear from you! The Senior ContinuousImprovement Officer role sits within the Continuous Improvement Team. The main aim of the role is to help to improve processes across the NMC. A key part of the role will be working collaboratively to review and improve processes.
You will also play a key role in championing Continuous Improvement. This involves engaging with staff across the organisation to promote and embed Continuous Improvement methods. Finally, you will provide support, mentoring and potentially line management for the Continuous Improvement Officers, acting as their first port of call for help and advice.
About you
We are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about quality and Continuous Improvement. You will have the experience and skills to:
• Easily build rapport with colleagues and work collaboratively.
• Support, coach and manage colleagues.
• Analyse complex processes to identify issues, causes and improvements.
• Present information to senior management and influence change.
• Organise your time well to deal with competing priorities and deadlines.
We are recruiting for two positions. If you are unsuccessful at interview but still meet the threshold to be appointable, you may be placed in a pool for future Senior Continuous Improvement Officer and Continuous Improvement Officer positions.
