An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Contracts Advisor to join a distinguished independent oil and gas company with a focus on Africa and South America. This is an excellent opportunity to support on major international projects. The candidate would join as part of their Capital Procurement Team on a permanent staff basis in their London office on a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities: Senior Contracts Advisor

• 
  Review annual business plans to understand forward demand and inform category strategy.

• 
  Analyse RWE business landscape for value optimization opportunities.

• 
  Develop strategies and go-to-market plans for complex RWE (Rigs, Wells & Exploration) contracts.

• 
  Manage all C&P activities for the RWE team, providing guidance and approvals.

• 
  Execute complex RWE tenders, ensuring Local Content incorporation.

• 
  Drive complex RWE contracts management, ensuring supplier compliance.

• 
  Drive supplier relationship management with key strategic partners.

• 
  Lead RWE team in C&P activities, overseeing strategy and contracting requirements.

• 
  Implement capability development initiatives for an efficient procurement team.

Key Requirements: Senior Contracts Advisor

• 
  Degree level qualification (preference for additional SCM-related qualification, e.g., CIPS, MBA)

• 
  Management, stakeholder management, and contracting experience.

• 
  Expertise in tendering and negotiating complex contracts.

• 
  Experience in post-award contract management for high-value complex contracts.

• 
  Knowledge of legal and commercial issues within the supply chain.

• 
  International exposure within Oil and Gas contracts and procurement.
