About the role:

Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with an expert engineering company, that focus on the installation, life-extension and decommissioning of marine infrastructure.

The Senior Contracts Advisor role comes with a salary of �65,000 (DOE), company benefits and hybrid working option. This role will provide day to day legal and contractual review, advice, and negotiation support to the Segment globally.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager you will:

� Provide day to day legal and contractual review, advice, negotiations, and tactics pf all contractual matters (including onsite support at client meetings).

� Work closely with the Senior Contracts Manager, Contracts Engineer, Legal Team, Sales, and Commercial teams globally to identify, understand, quantify, and mitigate contractual exposure.

� Support key stakeholders by providing advise and guidance to manage contractual, transactional, and other legal responsibilities and compliance.

� When necessary, work with the Sales and Commercial Teams on face-to-face negotiations with clients.

� Areas of focus include full services across all commercial contracts to identify both commercial and contractual risk, charter agreements, financial instruments, guarantees, non-disclosure agreements, memorandums of understanding and letters of intent.

Professional qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following:

� Degree qualified, preferable a legal discipline (LLB, LLM etc).

� Minimum 4 years contracts experience, focusing on the commercial, energy (particularly across offshore oil & gas), construction or corporate legal practice areas.

� Experience or excellent understanding of the complexities of operating in an international Group.

Personal skills:

The Senior Contract Advisor role would suit someone who is:

� Flexible to travel when required.

� A commercial mindset, with the ability to balance risks/opportunities both internally and externally.

� Proven experience and strong negotiation skills.

� In-depth knowledge of North Sea contracting (e.g., LOGIC) or similar contracts; experience of BIMCO or other charter party agreements would be desirable.

Salary and benefits of the Senior Contracts Advisor role:

� Salary of �65,000, depending on experience.
