JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will take control of the management of projects, both operationally and commercially.
Job role:
- To complete the weekly operations report to the client and attend weekly operations meeting in conjunction with the client.
- Working with other Operations Managers to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.
- Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.
- Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
- Managing and overseeing our larger projects, where you will be submitting comprehensive reports to our clients. This will mean both a split of office and site time, where you will be visiting the jobs to ensure works are running to schedule.
- Responsible for preparing, managing, supervising and taking accountability for the estimates instructed on.
- Coordinating the subcontractors and progress of the works.
- Submitting payment requests.
- Planning of materials and ordering of parts to ensure jobs are organised.
- Establishing good relationships with the clients and client teams
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Experience in the Building Services industry
- Client facing experience
- Senior Project Management experience
- A natural born problem solver.
- Ability to use own initiative.
