Senior Cook

Victoria Dock Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person to run and manage the catering service within the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring food and hygiene standards are met in a city centre primary school. You'll also be required to manage staff, place orders, prepare /cook meals that adhere to School Food Standards and work to budgets and financial targets. This will be hands-on role and the successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day running of the catering provision.
Salary: Grade 4, Point 5, £23,500 - Point 7, £24,294 (pro rata) for 30 hours per week, 7.30am - 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (190 days).
