Have you got skills in setting up and delivering events and new educational initiatives? If so, we have the perfect career opportunity for you in our Clinical Academic Training Office. We are searching for a versatile and experienced self-starter to support our research career programme for Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Scientists, Pharmacy staff and Psychologists (NMAHPPs). The role provides sole coordination and administrative support for all areas of activity including events, communications, partner engagement, committee administration and developing web materials. This will be a great chance for you to join one of the world’s top universities and collaborate with world-class NHS Hospital Trusts and Universities in North West London. The is a parental cover opportunity available to start from April 2024, fixed term for 9-12 months. Secondments from within Imperial will be considered subject to line manager agreement prior to applying. Duties & Responsibilities Working closely with senior Research Leads and others, this is a great opportunity to be at the heart of exciting work, working alongside fantastic academic clinicians and located within a professional and lively team. You will provide administration across an evolving programme of activity and give front line support to NMAHPPs developing their research careers. Essential requirements We are looking for applicants with: Excellent and diverse administrative experience, strong communication skills and great customer service practice. Experienced in coordinating courses/events and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities. You will use your drive and dedication to input into planning and delivery of the programme and provide high quality work in all areas. Experience of working with professionals in the Higher Education/NHS or research funding sector is critical Experience of supporting new initiatives. You will have experience of successfully operating within multi-stakeholder partnerships, be able to develop new systems and processes and be confident in running a busy events programme. You should have a flexible approach, strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with a small and impactful team. This opportunity will make good use of your experience gained in roles such as Office Coordinator, Training/Programme Administrator or Project Support Officer.
