- Senior Copy Editor
25.36 Per hour
INSIDE IR35
6 Month Contract
Full Time - 37 hours per week
Hybrid - 1 to 3 days per week in either Newport, South Wales, Titchfield, Hampshire, Edinburgh or Darlington offices.
My client are a large prestigous government organisation and are looking for a Senior Copy Editor to come and join their team on an initial 6 month basis, paying 25.36 per hour, Inside IR35.
Requirements of role:
- Degree or equivalent experience in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field with proven experience in copy editing.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills - able to produce a clear narrative with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and style.
- Ability to align your work with our broader strategic objectives and take a forward-thinking approach to your role, considering the long-term impact of your work on the organisations reputation and mission. Experience of aligning and contributing to brand message, voice, and digital presentation.
- Support the growth and development of colleagues by providing constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Inspire others to understand and embrace the importance of clear and accurate written communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively speak and collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- The ability to win the confidence of journalists and expert commentators as a credible source of information and guidance in specialist areas.
