How you'll make a difference
- In this role you will lead, manage, and commission as appropriate, a wide range of consultation projects on behalf of the council and partner organisations. This would include scoping work, managing projects/suppliers, analysis and interpretation of findings and presentation to decision makers.
- You will coordinate the Council’s consultation work programme, planning when we will carry out consultations and negotiating timescales with customers.
- It will be your responsibility to provide clear advice and guidance for technical and non-technical audiences at all levels and carry out training where appropriate.
- You will also ensure that the corporate mechanisms, practices and procedures for customer satisfaction and consultation remain in line with national and local guidance, and are compliant with legislation and case law.
What we need from you
- You must have relevant experience of consultation, engagement and/or market research.
- You will have a relevant professional or equivalent degree level qualification, or you will have equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of interpreting information from a variety of sources to draw logical conclusions and make recommendations, adjusting the reporting style to fit the audience.
