Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer

As Senior Development Officer you will have the chance to shape new areas of fundraising for the charity including individual giving campaigns, membership schemes and legacy giving as well as maximising fundraised income on site, through events, and online. 

This role is for you if you have bags of initiative, wish to really expand your areas of responsibility, and are keen to see the difference that you make.  If you are frustrated as a small cog in a big machine and are looking for a varied, creative and busy role, this opportunity could be just what you are looking for.  You will work closely with the delivery managers on campaigns within this small charity team that genuinely feels like a family. 

This role may particularly appeal if you have a passion for literature, history, architecture, gardens, or indeed work that focuses on inclusion and wellbeing with people from disadvantaged backgrounds.  In this role you will experience all aspects of ‘behind the scenes’ at a famous historic house.

You will work within a beautiful rural environment less than an hour south of Edinburgh – lovely for lunchtime walks. Abbotsford is just outside Melrose in the Scottish Borders and within walking distance of Tweedbank railway station.  Full time staff may work at home for up to two days a week, and flexible working may be available for the right person.
