Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor, currently working in a high micro management environment and feeling as if you want to work within a company that values, autonomy and hard work, then look below, for a change in 2024!
Pillar partnership have been given the opportunity to work with a private and independently owned consultancy with offices Globally and across the UK. They are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join them on multiple projects with a main focus on water, as well as a variety of private sector schemes across the Greater Leeds area. Due to their reputation and consistent success with clients, they genuinely tend to win bids for some of the most exciting projects- some of these being valued up to £1 billion.
Our client are keen to speak to enthusiastic Senior Quantity Surveyors/ OR MRICS chartered Quantity Surveyors, who are ready for a step up to become a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They really pride themselves on the culture of their team, and a keen to speak to likeminded individuals.
In this role you can expect to work on a variety of projects- mainly around infrastructure/ water projects. With these roles you will have significant exposure to clients and key external stakeholders. Within this role you will be expected to help more junior members of staff, through mentoring and allowing to shadow. The opportunity to move up to Associate is genuinely achievable in this team, and they’d be keen for this to be done in the next 18 months.
They’ll consider all applications on their merit but their ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the following:
- At least 5 years’ experience within civils/ infra/ water projects
- Ideally the majority of your experience being in a PQS environment
- MRICS chartership is a distinct advantage
- Experience and confident with dealing with senior stakeholders
- Personable individual, not afraid to work outside their comfort zone on occasion
- Relevant University degree
- Eligible to work in the UK
