THE ROLE

• Develop and refine credit risk strategies to manage the bank's exposure to credit risk across various portfolios.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of credit risk data to identify trends, assess portfolio performance, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Create and maintain predictive models for credit risk assessment, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, finance, and compliance, to ensure alignment of credit risk strategies with business goals.
• Monitor and report on key risk indicators, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices in credit risk management.
• Support the development and implementation of risk policies, procedures, and controls.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience in credit risk analysis, strategy development, or a related role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience with credit risk modeling tools and software (e.g., SAS, R, Python, SQL).
