Senior Crypto Trader

The current Crypto team consists of 2x Quant Analysts, and 3x Engineers. We are looking for a Senior Trader to help shape the development of our OTC offering and portfolio management strategies.

‍Main Responsibilities‍

• Find, analyse and execute trading strategies across both institutional, centralised and Defi trading venues.
• Monitor the performance of live trading strategies and collate feedback which will inform the quant teams research pipeline for automated strategies.
• Research new alpha signals in volatility and Defi space.
• Build external relationships and help develop structured OTC products that create value and flow for the desk.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure team and other traders to discuss optimal and creative solutions.
• Help develop a training graduate program alongside HR for junior trading analysts
• Manage, mentor and grow a team of trading analysts subject to desk growth.

Requirements

• Degree with significant quantitative elements, such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience managing the PnL associated with a product or portfolio;
• A strong knowledge and passion for cryptocurrencies and DeFi trading
• A strong and provable trading track record.
• Python coding skills - understanding of asynchronous programming is a plus

• Ability to draw unique insights from data in refining trading strategies.
• A heavy bias on data informed decision making.
