Longhurst Group is seeking a Senior Customer Services Advisor to join our dedicated team. As a Senior Customer Services Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support. You will be the go-to expert in our services, providing guidance to both customers and colleagues, and ensuring all inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.

Main Purpose of the Job:

As a Senior Customer Services Advisor, you'll be an expert in our services and someone our customers and colleagues can really rely upon when they need us most. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional Customer Service and solutions, alongside:

  • Supporting a team of multiskilled Customer Service Advisors ensuring the effective delivery of all inbound customer traffic via an omni-channel approach.
  • Providing expert advice to colleagues and customers and dealing confidently and professionally with any complex or escalated queries.
  • Being responsible for working with the Customer Services Team Leaders to ensure the successful operation of the service. This includes taking responsibility for ensuring high-quality performance from Customer Service Advisors in the contact centre.
  • Putting the customer at the heart of everything that you do, taking ownership of actions and being accountable for their delivery, working closely with teams across the Group and external partners to ensure that customer promises are delivered and to hold to account key stakeholders for ensuring that those promises are met within timescales.


Our Senior Customer Services Advisor position is contracted to 36.25 hours per week, based full-time in our Boston office to support your colleagues or customers. To be successful in application for the Senior Customer Services Advisor role, you’ll need a basic knowledge of Housing Law and Regulator of Social Housing Standards, specifically the Consumer Standard. You’ll also need strong coaching skills with a track record in developing individuals as well as yourself, so if you’re coming from a Quality Coach background or similar, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to develop your career.
