Assistant Sales Manager in Liverpool, Salary £19,500pa

30 hours per week

Working Hours - Mon, Wed, Fri - 8am-5pm, Sat - 8am-12.30pm

Rate - £12.50 per hour

Flexibility to cover holidays and take the odd out of hours call if necessary..

Our client are looking for an energetic, sales motivated Sales Assistant to support the manager in all aspects of running the store and growing the business. The ideal candidate will be target driven with good sales skills and the desire to learn. They will be involved in the Customer Service, local marketing and general administration and maintenance tasks
Ideal candidate
As a Sales Advisor your main role is to support your customers and your work colleagues in the day to day running of a busy storage facility. Below are some of the key areas you will be required to fulfil:

• Offer a high standard of Customer Service, in person, via email or phone.
• Convert sales enquires to rent self-storage units at every opportunity.
• To ensure that all customer enquiries are captured and followed up with the appropriate timely action.
• To ensure that all customers are handled in a calm and professional manner.
• To maintain customer records, ensuring that all details and charges are recorded accurately.
• Assist with daily and monthly health and safety checks in and outside of the facility and report any findings.
• Carry out general administration tasks e.g. set up customer contracts and debt management.

The ideal person for the role will demonstrate;

• Good IT Skills
• Strong listening skills
• The ability to build rapport with customers.
• Display the ability to make decisions quickly and act on them when required to do so.
• The ability to work alone or within a team.

You will have some experience in the retail Industry or a background in sales. You will be confident you can work towards meeting targets and exceed expectations. You will also be computer literate and possess strong selling and communication skills.
