Senior Cyber Specialist

Exciting Senior Cyber Specialist Opportunity - Award Winning Health Care Organisation - up to £44k p.a. - Hybrid (South Wales)

A multi award-winning Health Care Organisation is seeking a self-starting, senior Cyber Security professional to help ensure resilience of their vast and complex ICT service that underpin the delivery of their digital health care service.

Location: South Wales – Hybrid (Flexible).

Salary: Up to £44k p.a. DOE + Great benefits & Public Sector pension.

Responsibilities:

• Working with technical leads across the business to mitigate the risk of Cyber Security incidents.
• Analysing complex IT incidents that are limiting access to digital services.
• Planning and prioritising workloads for the Cyber Security team and allocating resources appropriately.
• Working with external oganisations over service issues and supply chain management.

Key Skills:

• Experience working in a Senior Cyber Security Role or equivalent (Health Care desired).
• A professional Cyber Security qualification or membership. E.g. CISMP, CISSP, CASP, ISC2, CompTIA, Tiger, NCSC
• An understanding of Cyber Sec regulations e.g. NIS-D
• Proven experience of leading Cyber Security projects.
• The ability to convey complex IT problems to non-technical people.
• Managing 3rd party suppliers to deliver projects.
• The ability to speak Welsh (Desired but not necessary)
