Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with Application Security, Cybersecurity, Network Security, Information Security, and Vulnerability Assessment
Must
- At least 8 years of commercial experience from BigTech Companies
- You have at least 1 or 2 BigTech Companies in your work experience
- You have at least 10 years of experience in: PowerShell (most important), C, C++, Java orPython
- You have passed through at least 2 of these Cybersecurity Positions in your career experience:
- /Network Security Engineer
- /Security Software Developer
- /Information Security Analyst
- /Cryptographer/Cryptanalyst
- /Security Architect
- /Penetration Tester/Ethical Hacker
- /Forensic Computer Analyst
- /Cloud Security Engineer
- /Compliance and Assurance Analyst
- /Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist
Qualifications
- Application Security, Cybersecurity, and Network Security skills
- Information Security and Vulnerability Assessment skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and/or CEH are preferred
