Senior Data and Integration Developer

The Company
Nigel Wright Tech is delighted to be working with a public sector organisation in their search for a Senior Data Integrations Developer. 
You will be expected to assist in the design, development, testing, implementation and support of data solutions. This will include the migration of data from one system to another as well as advising the Software Development Team and others, with regards to best practise. Other key responsibilities include: 

• Lead or support in the delivery of data specific projects with the support of the Principal Data Architect 
• Collaborate with stakeholders on projects to identify data, analysis and reporting requirements 
• Lead on activities relating to cataloguing, monitoring and identification of data assets that are essential to the project's provision of services 
• Support and implement data acquisition, collation and management of complex data sets 
• Lead on the migration of data from legacy systems including developing various mappings and process flows using SQL and other BI tools

• Extensive knowledge of SQL development, database design and T-SQL 
• Experience of migrating data between different applications 
• Previous experience with writing SQL stored procedures, functions and triggers 
• Experience of conducting performance tuning SQL statements and database performances
